Cavaliers Cricket Club has two teams in the PDQ Cars North Essex league (currently Division 2 and 4) and a team in the Evening League.
We are keen to welcome new players who enjoy their cricket whatever their standard. We are a very economical club with membership just £10 a season and match fees of £6. Please contact us by phone or e-mail; all the details are on the Contacts page.

There has been some recent controversy around the issue of waist high no-balls. The Laws of Cricket state that;
Law 42.6 - Dangerous and Unfair Bowling
(b) Bowling of high full pitched balls
(i) Any delivery, other than a slow paced one, which passes or would have passed on the full above waist height of the striker standing upright at the crease is to be deemed dangerous and unfair, whether or not it is likely to inflict physical injury on the striker.
(ii) A slow delivery which passes or would have passed on the full above shoulder height of the striker standing upright at the crease is to be deemed dangerous and unfair, whether or not it is likely to inflict physical injury on the striker.
